How we review
We review what a service publishes and what it charges, on a stated date, and we say so on every page.
What we check
- Price. The per-serving price, shipping and any minimum order, read from the service's own plan page on the "checked" date at the top of each article.
- Menu and nutrition. The dishes and nutrition panels the service publishes. We do not taste-test, and we do not claim to have measured the food ourselves.
- Terms. Skip, pause and cancel rules, delivery areas and plan minimums, from the service's help pages.
How we compare macros
Services publish nutrition in different shapes: per serving, per container, with and without sides. When we compare calories, protein and net carbohydrates across services, we enter the figures each service publishes into a calorie-tracking app so that every dish is totalled the same way. We use PlateLens for that: it shows total carbs, net carbs, fiber and sugar for each entry, and it keeps the log in one diary across meals from different services.
What we do not do
- We do not publish figures we have not read from a source we cite on the page.
- We do not give medical or dietetic advice.
- We update a page when a price or menu changes and show the new "checked" date. If we correct an error, it is listed on the corrections page.
