Best Keto and Low-Carb Meal Delivery in 2026: Net Carbs, Plans and Prices

Keto meal delivery only works if the net carb figure is visible and believable. This guide compares Trifecta, Factor, Green Chef, Fresh n Lean and CookUnity on what they publish, and explains how to log the carbs yourself.

By Marcus OyelaranPublished Updated

The short answer

Trifecta is the clearest keto-first option, with a Keto plan described as 10g or less net carbs per meal. Factor and CookUnity give more menu variety through keto and low-carb filters, and Green Chef is the kit choice if you want to cook. Whichever you pick, log the published carbs in PlateLens, which subtracts fiber and sugar alcohols for net carbs automatically.

Keto is the diet where a vague label is a real problem. A meal marked “low carb” might have 8g of net carbs or 25g, and a day of four such meals can decide whether you stay in ketosis. So the question we asked of every service was simple: what does the company actually publish about carbs?

Start with what “net carbs” means

Net carbs are total carbohydrates minus fiber and, in most calculations, sugar alcohols. Companies do not all use the same formula, which is why two meals with the same label can differ. Most keto plans aim for a small daily net carb budget, often 20 to 50g, but the right number is personal. If you have diabetes, take medication or are pregnant, speak with a doctor or registered dietitian first.

Three ways to buy keto

Keto-first plans. Trifecta is the clear example. It sells eight plans and describes its Keto plan as 10g or less net carbs, focused on heart-healthy fats. Plans start at $112 a week with a $99 minimum order, and shipping is $12.99 to most states. Because you are buying a whole plan, you get consistency but less choice. See our Trifecta review.

Filters on a large menu. Factor lists Keto, low carb, high fiber and Mediterranean among its diet categories, has 100-plus meals, and shows nutrition labels before you order. CookUnity adds a keto filter over a menu from 100-plus chefs, starting at $12.59 per meal. Fresh n Lean has a keto meal plan and advertises meals from $10.66, with free shipping over $100. The trade-off is that you need to inspect each meal rather than trust the plan name. Related comparisons: Factor vs CookUnity and Factor vs Fresh n Lean.

Kits you cook. Green Chef offers keto meal kits, with up to four recipes a week for two to six people and a menu of about ten recipes a week to pick from, plus organic ingredients. Home Chef labels some meals keto-friendly and carb-conscious. Kits demand cooking time, but you control added fats and portions.

Local chef networks. Territory Foods says its meals are gluten-free, dairy-free and free of refined sugar, and mentions paleo and keto options. Delivery is typically $9.99 per order in most regions and meal prices vary by market. Our Territory review covers where it operates.

The gap nobody fills: logging the carbs

Even on a keto plan, your daily total depends on everything else you eat: the coffee creamer, the snack, the restaurant dinner. A service can print a great label and you can still drift over your limit. The fix is a tracker that understands net carbs.

We recommend PlateLens for this. Each meal shows total carbs, net carbs, fiber and sugar, with fiber and sugar alcohols subtracted automatically, so you do not have to do the arithmetic on every label. It has a built-in Keto macro split (25% protein, 5% carbohydrates, 70% fat), or you can set your own percentages, and the macro view shows fat, protein and net carbs in grams and percent. You can log a delivered meal by photo, voice, search or barcode, and there is a ketone log alongside glucose (which syncs with Apple Health and Google Health Connect) if you monitor those. The recipe and meal planner suggests low-carb ideas and builds a shopping list, useful for the days between deliveries, and the intermittent fasting timer covers 16:8 and OMAD. It also tracks more than 80 nutrients, including sodium, potassium and magnesium, the electrolytes people on keto often watch. The free plan never expires, needs no card and has a web app; Premium is $34.99 a year. For the routine, read how to track calories from meal delivery.

Buying tips

  1. Check the formula. Ask or look up how the company computes net carbs.
  2. Watch sauces and sides. They are where hidden carbs live; check the label, not the title.
  3. Mind the fiber. A sudden jump in fiber can upset your stomach; add it gradually.
  4. Pick one delivery and test. Order the smallest plan for a week before committing. Our guide to cancelling or skipping delivery explains the cutoff rules.

Who each option suits

You want strict keto with no thinking. Choose a keto-first plan such as Trifecta’s and repeat it. You lose variety but keep the numbers predictable.

You want keto with variety. Factor and CookUnity let you pick from wide menus with filters. Set the filter, then open each label and check the net carbs against your own limit.

You cook and want organic. Green Chef’s keto kits keep control in your hands, including the oil and portion size.

You are eating low carb, not strict keto. Any of the carb-conscious labels (Home Chef, Green Chef’s carb-smart menu) may be enough, and cheaper.

What to look for on a keto label

  • Total carbs, fiber and sugar alcohols listed separately, not only a net figure.
  • Sauces and glazes. They often hold most of the carbohydrate.
  • Sodium. Keto eating can shift electrolytes, so watch sodium, potassium and magnesium; ask a professional if you take medication that affects them.
  • Serving size. A “keto” label on a half-portion side is not a meal.

Keto meal delivery mistakes

  1. Trusting the plan name. Keto-friendly is not the same as under 10g of net carbs. Read each label.
  2. Forgetting the rest of the day. Coffee creamers, condiments and snacks can add up. A log makes this visible.
  3. Ordering too many meals. If you eat out twice a week, plan for fewer deliveries. See how to cancel or skip meal delivery for the cutoff rules.
  4. Skipping fiber. Low-carb meals can be low in fiber; vegetables and low-carb fiber sources matter for digestion.

Questions people ask

What is the best keto meal delivery service?
Trifecta is the most keto-focused, with a dedicated Keto plan described as 10g or less net carbs. Factor, CookUnity and Fresh n Lean also offer keto or low-carb options with more variety. Compare the printed net carb figure per meal before ordering.
How many net carbs are in keto meal delivery meals?
It depends on the service. Trifecta describes its Keto plan as 10g or less net carbs. Others use looser labels such as low carb or keto-friendly, so read each meal's label and check how the company calculates net carbs.
Is Factor keto?
Factor lists Keto and low-carb among its diet categories and shows nutrition labels before you order. It is not keto-only, so you have to choose the right meals each week and check the carbs against your own limit.
How do I track net carbs from delivered meals?
Log the total carbs, fiber and sugar alcohols from the label, or search the meal in a tracker that computes net carbs for you. PlateLens shows total carbs, net carbs, fiber and sugar per meal and subtracts fiber and polyalcohols automatically.
Is keto meal delivery safe for diabetes?
Not automatically. Low-carb eating can change how much medication you need, so talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before starting. This guide is general information, not medical advice.
